Just wanted to introduce myself...I'm Monique and I would love to lose about 100 pounds! I know it won't be easy at all but I'm willing to fight for it. I want to be healthy and live long and see my daughters grow up. If anyone has any tips of any kind please feel free to let me know about them. I'm trying to educate myself on weight loss. Good luck to everyone here! Feel free to add me...Everyone needs good motivation! ;)

    Congratulation on deciding to change to a healthy lifestyle. The most important thing is patience. It doesn't happen overnight (and it shouldn't). Learn the healthy way to eat. We can help you. DON'T starve yourself. Exercise, even if you can only do a little at first. Drink your water and get your rest. Would be happy to help you. Sending friend request!
  • Welcome to MFP! You've just started a great journey. My tips:

    1) Remember - it's a journey, not a race!
    2) Don't let the scale rule your life (see number one)
    3) Measure/weigh food
    4) Let yourself see and appreciate change!
    5) 80% diet, 20% exercise
    6) Stick with it!

    Best of luck to you...well, you really don't need luck, because you CAN do it. :drinker:
