Yes I've read it, the part about the meat industry got to me :grumble:0 -
I have started reading it but haven't finished it.... Kind of bores me to tears.... I made my lifestyle change long ago though, so it's not really like there's anything new to me in it unfortunately.0

I could definitely see how it would bore you since you already made changes. I was living a pretty unhealthy lifestyle and needed that kind of slap in the face to make changes. Kudos on your weight loss too! Amazing!0 -

That part got to me too. I picked up Slaughterhouse which was one of the books they quoted but I couldn't bring myself to read it. I cried when I read about the guy who cut the snout off the pig and shoved salt in it. Ugh.0 -
Probably the worst vegan book on the market -- if you find it motivating, that's great, I just feel there are better books out there. And plenty of those books also include recipes. Skinny B*tch in the Kitch has some good recipes, though.0

This book is the reason I became a Vegetarian! I was actually reading it when I ate my last meat-meal. Been veg for about 5 years now..it's helped me understand how things affect our bodies and definitely makes me more food conscious!0
