Skinny B*tch

Has anyone ever read this book? If so, thoughts? Feelings?

To tell you the truth, this book changed my life. I got off my *kitten*, started working out more and completely revamped my diet. Thank you skinny b*tches!!

I have started reading it but haven't finished it.... Kind of bores me to tears.... I made my lifestyle change long ago though, so it's not really like there's anything new to me in it unfortunately.

I could definitely see how it would bore you since you already made changes. I was living a pretty unhealthy lifestyle and needed that kind of slap in the face to make changes. Kudos on your weight loss too! Amazing!

That part got to me too. I picked up Slaughterhouse which was one of the books they quoted but I couldn't bring myself to read it. I cried when I read about the guy who cut the snout off the pig and shoved salt in it. Ugh.

Probably the worst vegan book on the market -- if you find it motivating, that's great, I just feel there are better books out there. And plenty of those books also include recipes. Skinny B*tch in the Kitch has some good recipes, though. :)

yep...read it a few times. entertaining...and has a lot of good tips.
  • This book is the reason I became a Vegetarian! I was actually reading it when I ate my last meat-meal. Been veg for about 5 years now..it's helped me understand how things affect our bodies and definitely makes me more food conscious!
