Once upon a time, I was a contestant in Miss Florida. I always try to keep that in the back of my mind; that I wouldn't want someone to look at me with incredulity if I ever mention that. Like "YOU were in a pageant?!" Today, after losing 21 pounds, I tried on my interview suit that I wore for competition, and it fit! This is thinner than I was when I met my husband. I had given up hope of ever fitting into these clothes again, was trying to garage sale it off. Now I'm looking for shoes to match so I can wear it to work!
