Hi All,
I am a relative newbie to exercise and am having trouble figuring out how to classify it when I do the Gaiam Total Toning DVD. It's basically like doing fast paced pilates with a weight. It seems to me that it should count as more calories burnt then just doing pilates. I know HRM are not reliable for estimating calories burned for these types of exercises but I did do a comparison and according to it the burn is about twice that of a same length mat pilates routine.
So, my question is does it seem reasonable to adjust the calories mfp is giving me for pilates upwards by say 50% when doing the Total Toning DVD?
I appreciate any advice.
