When I enter a strength training workout it show to burn no calories. Only cardio burns calories?

I do my strength training via a circuit and have little to no rest between sets. By the end of the workout I am drenched but MFP tells me I burned 0 calories because I didn't do just flat cardio .

Why is this? Is there a better way to enter my workout?

    ... it burns calories.

    try a different search or figure out your calorie burn using your information (there's sites for this). or invest in an HRM.
    I wouldn't stick to what MFP or the machines say, they tend to overestimate calorie burns.

    Under cardio search strength training and enter your time just like your cardio

    Yes, strength training burns calories. You can always use a HRM to calculate your burns.

    Here's what the MFP help says:
    Estimating the calories burned from strength training is very difficult because it depends on a variety of factors: how much weight you lifted per repetition, how vigorously you performed that exercise, how much rest you took between sets, etc. Because of this, we do not automatically calculate how many calories you burned from strength training exercises.

    However, if you'd like, you can add "Strength training" as a cardio exercise to get a rough estimate of how many calories you burned. Please be aware though that this is definitely a rough estimate and can be fairly inaccurate.

    I would suggest a HRM, cause some of the calculations on MFP are not correct...

    sigh.. dont bother with HRM. its not accurate with strength training. different energy system than what hrm's calculate,
