Struggle planning meals? This might help
Hi all hope your enjoying your weekend. Thought I'd share my favorite app at the moment. I love to cook, mostly if I have planned and have my ingredients on hand. I have struggled in the past to bring a healthy meal to the table that we all enjoyed without planning it. I'd buy veggies and watch them spoil because I'd forget what to use them in. I never found a time I could sit down and plan recipes for a week and also make a grocery list. I'm a busy mom of 3. They're 6 yrs and under.
Now I'll tell you the app is the food planner app for Android. (Sorry, I don't know if there is such a thing for other devices) This app lets you plan many weeks of meals. Lets you bring recipes from a list of websites, you can edit them and you can add your own. With a finger tap you can add the ingredients from the recipe to a grocery list that you take along and check off as you buy. You can also make an inventory of your items from drawers, fridge, pantry by adding them with a scanner or inputting the names. There might be other apps in the market that do similar or the same thing as this one. Well I discovered this one about 2 weeks ago and would've used it earlier if I knew there was such a thing. If you have a different device look it up in the market to see what u find.
Just sharing some free info. This is a free app, I wasnt paid and I'm sharing this 'cause I'm very excited about it. I know many of you have your sistem of planning your meals and I admire that, but I thought Id share for people pressed of time like me. Hope someone finds this useful.
