If Men only could understand women's mad thinking, they would be so much more better off! LOL!!!

Not all women think alike, nor do all men. Some people, including women, would rather spend the time spent on tracking coupons on something else, or they don't want to be induced to buy things they don't need. And some men collect coupons too.

It was a joke - meant to emphasize the poster with the original comment about her husband...and that I was agreeing with her.

Men just don't get it. Just banning my hubby from the market saved us almost 50%.
    And nice deals, btw.

Im glad you found the humor in my post - someone else didnt... oy vey!

Yeah - we are going to hit the stores for the vegetable sales later today and my kitchen is set up and ready to prep everything again!

Everything. Food from scratch. Laundry detergent. Cleaners (baking soda and vinegar does the trick.)
  • Definately make the effort to get to a cheaper supermarket. I dont have a car either but there is a great discount supermarket two towns away next to a train station - so I make the effort every two or three weeks to hop on the train and stock up on essentials like meat for the freezer, pantry staples, fruit and veg and it saves a TON of money. The local shop here is really expensive but now I can usually get away with just buying things like bread and milk and a few other things here and there as needed. Absolute pain to cart all the stuff back on the train but really worth the savings, I can buy about double the amount of groceries for the same money.

hehehe, I also banned hubby from shopping - shame because he's good at carrying but he just costs too much lol.

Not food but I make my own liquid laundry soap. Saves us a ton with 5 of us plus 12 daycare kids in the house during th day.
