A guy's clothing NSV

I weighed between 220 and 230 pounds (I'm 5'10") for about 25 years. Starting July 2011, I started taking care of myself and exercising and now weigh 175-180. Friday was my birthday, so a few days before that I went to try on those Starter shirts (the ones for exercising) at the store.

For the last 25 years, every time I tried on a shirt at a store, I would hope it wasn't going to be too tight. I decided to try my luck with a medium, and as I entered the dressing room, my old "fat guy" brain was thinking, "I hope this isnt too tight."

Then I tried on the medium.

It was too tight.

IN THE SHOULDERS. Holy crap.

One of these days, I'm going to learn to accept the fact that I'm not the fat guy anymore.

Yea!!!!! Awesome job! I have a few pairs of cordorouys that I can't even zip up. I'm using those instead of a scale from now on. I just started lifting again and know the scale can be wonky so just going to focus on the eating and lifting and forget the numbers for a while...just see how the inches come off.
