How would you calculate as exercise...

I just came in from playing with our puppy. She LOVES to play fetch where I throw a ball or toy over and over - probably 10 -15 times in a minute. She runs full tilt to fetch it and bring it back, dropping that toy as I throw the next. I come in panting, sometimes almost as hard as she is from bending over to pick up toys and throw again as quickly as I can.

So how would you calculate this for your diary?

    Pick some moderate aerobic exercise (not as hard as running, but more than yoga) - punch in the time, then use that as a guideline.

    I wouldn't even count it, myself. If it's just playing with the dog, then if it burns a lot of calories, just call that a bonus. Unless you're strict on eating back exercise calories.

    If it's got your heart rate up and you don't do it every day, then sure, log it.

    Maybe something like "walking, slow pace"?
