Homemade Protein Smoothie

I want to make protein smoothies without powder. Anyone have any great recipes? I know you can use cottage cheese/PB/yogurt but I'm wondering if there are any other protein sources I can add.

If dairy protein is out, there's not a lot of options I'm afraid. Raw egg whites are not considered safe any more, right?.. Unless you personally know the chicken and are certain about its health
I do my smoothies with a kind of a fat free curd/quark. Tastes great both sweet (with fruit) or savoury (with veg and spices).
You can try chicken breast of course, it will be something like a puree soup )) not sure if it fits your idea of a smoothie.0 -

I'd try powder, but it's a niche market here (weight lifters/bodybuilders only) and I have no idea what I'm buying.0 -

I still don't get it. I just go to GNC and get their unflavored whey protein powder -- one serving is 110 cals, 2g fat, 2g carb, 2g sugar, 21g protein. I add it to soups, stews, and smoothies, and I can't even taste it.0 -

Don't fear the powder and don't fear the egg whites!!! I make protein shakes everyday using unsweetened vanilla almond milk, half a frozen banana, a scoop of whey protein powder (currently using Optimum Gold Standard Cookies & Cream but there are many other great ones out there, you just have to find one you like), 3 tbsp pasteurized liquid egg whites (they're heated to a level that kills off any harmful bacteria like listeria or salmonella), 1 tbsp peanut butter (currently using PB2 Chocolate), and just recently started adding a tbsp of flaxseed oil. I look forward to these shakes!0

I make a "brownie batter" version using chocolate protein powder and chocolate jello pudding mix. It's incredible, and the only way I can handle consuming cottage cheese. You don't even taste it in this shake.0 -

My point exactlyno idea what GNC is, and nothing as self-explanatory as 'whey protein powder' in our shops.

Chia and flax have quite a bit of protein in them, I add them to my smoothies and salads0
