Pre/ post race food

The OH is doing a full Ironman next weekend and Wasdale 70.3 2 weeks later.

He's funny about what he eats pre race (easily digestable food only, no stodge), post race he still likes things that aren't going to clog up his gut whilst it's still a little ischaemic.

Suggestionns?! Either proper meal for the night before/ breakfast and something to feed him after!
