Changing goals...

A few days ago my accountability partner and I decided to change our goals from losing 1 pound a week to losing 1/2 a pound a week. I have about 7-10 pounds to lose, but I found myself going over on calories almost every day so once I was over, I would end up splurging and going 300 or more calories over. I know that is a huge lack of discipline, but losing 1 pound a week just isn't working out for me. I keep floating around 129-131 and can't get past it. Any suggestions? Is it wrong for me to change my goals to 1/2 a pound a week even though 1 pound a week is reccomended?

I wouldn't say that changing your goal to only lose 1/2 pound a week is a solution to your problem. If you really want to lose your last 7-10 pounds you need to stay disciplined the majority of the time and really watch what you eat. Going over by a few hundred calories will only maintain your current weight and not allow you to continue to lose to reach your goal. Dig deep and find some motivation for the last few pounds. You can do it.0
