Hello, I am looking for ideas for alternatives to protein bars for snacks or meal replacement....I find myself eating way too many of these things, and know the sugar content and simple carbohydrates in them are simply not good for me, and are contributing to my stalled weight loss....help me please!!

or just try other snacks like eggs, fruit, veggies, nuts, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, mini meals0 -
Along with making your own, you can make protein pancakes, waffles, muffins, protein fluff, etc. Or you can just buy a quality meal replacement supplement filled with complex carbs from things like oats or brown rice.0

Agreed with above. The only thing I'll add is that not all bars are created equal. There are a few that are lower on carbs / higher on protein ("Pure Protein" comes to mind but I know there are others). Another option is to make shakes instead of eating bars. You can get really creative in how they're made and they'll almost always be lower on sugar than a bar, even if you put some type of sweetner in.0
