Hello fitbit users out there
I am a new fitbit user and have synced my two accounts. My question: My mfp goals give me my daily calories requirements based on my lifestyle - currently determined at 1950 cal/day.
Fitbit determined BMR and clocks all activities extra. It then syncs my active calories and gives me an "adjustment" on my logged mfp exercise-calories. But the calorie adjustment as I understand includes my daily routine, like doing laundry and that stuff - activities mfp already included in my daily requirements, so I would end up doubling my normal activity caloric-output.
I don't know if I am explaining myself very well here, but if you understand what I mean, I am curious as to how you handle this. I keep deleting the fitbit adjustment on mfp, but like Fred Penner's cat, they keep on coming back....
Thanks, Karin

I wonder if it would work if you set your mfp activity level to sedentary.. that would include the least amount of activity above your bmr.. maybe that would work???? I have a fairly extensive spreadsheet that has logged all my losses, calories, and exercise to date. In general, it appears that mathematically, I only burn 300-400 calories above my bmr each day doing my normal activities.. yes, outside of my biking, I'm pretty lazy! lol0

yeah...I am afraid that is me too....don't exactly do laundry in high-impact-mode....
I set my level to sedentary already...I just have to keep playing with it....
Thanks for your input, Gwen!0 -
