Ladies: Your abs, arms and leg workouts please!

I've only lost 10 lbs but i'm slimmer than i was. I would like to get to 126lbs but i might stop before then depending on what i look like. I am scared i will go too far though!

What i need help with is abs, arms and legs. What has worked for you? I hate my wobbly arms and legs and i like my tummy more but i need more fat to go (i am doing cardio) but i need some good strength exercises!

I don't have dumbbells at the moment. I do have a resistance band though.

So yeah. what do you do to firm up! Thanks

Google body weight exercises. But to really get the results you want, you'll probably want to buy some weights or join a gym. Or tag along with a friend who has a gym membership and guest passes.

Yes, look up body weight exercises. That is what I do.

Here's a great book called You Are Your Own Gym.

You can buy the book, download it onto a reader, and there is also an iPhone app. (I don't know about the app for other brands of smart phone, because I have an iPhone.)

Ballet Body Dvds by Leah Sarago.... Really great workouts, though she does use hand weights for part of the upper body section. It's well worth it!

    Try this site:

    http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/workouts/

They may have some nongym arm workouts that appeal to you.

Otherwise, I'm sure if you Google your bands, you can find a lot of strength exercises using them.
  • Zumba with the toning sticks has been working for me... The toning sticks come with the DVD set. Found mine on Amazon.

Check out FitnessBlender on YouTube, has a ton of good at home work outs. At the gym or at home when I'm not sure what to do I use Jefit app to look up work outs for the area I'm doing that day.

Hey i know you have heard it a lot but i suggest use your weight against itself and get fit... i am currently doing following routines
    1. Hundred Pushups
    2. One fifty Dips
    3. Two hundred squats
i do them 3x a week and after just two weeks my arms show a remarkable improvement... have a look they also have a 200 situp routine but i have not done that yet...

Oh also try palates, a good one on YouTube is Blogilates, you can really feel it working and you don't need anything usually but yourself!
  • Hey, checkout Zuzana Light on youtube or facebook. Or try bodyrock.tv They both use your own body weight for their workouts. They sometimes use equipments but not much. Most of their exercises work your arms, thighs and abs.
