Need ideas on sitting or anarobic workouts

Ok so I promise I'm not being lazy, let's just put that into the universe first. I have a blood condition that has my hemoglobin at around half of what it should be an as we all know that's what binds to the oxygen that feeds out body. That being said I get winded by something as simple as making my bed or transfering laundry. No its not a case that i f you work out you'll build endurance. My MD and I are working on building up my blood counts so hopefully this won't be a problem forever. But until then I would like any ideas anyone has on some light sitting weight or stretching I can do to help burn at least a few extra calories. Thanks ahead
