I am looking for a more economical version of the Fitbit. Is there anyone out there who can recommend something?

    Well, if you just want to track steps you can get a pedometer? I didn't find many cheaper alternatives that do what the fitbit does... only more expensive versions. You can get it on Amazon/ebay for closer to $80 though.
