I've been working so hard and shifted 24lbs to get to a normal BMI. Still not done i have about another 10lbs to go but suddenly ive gained 4lbs in 2 days. I had a cheat day two days ago and racked up 3000 calories but my TDEE is 2554 so i didnt think it would make too much difference but i suddenly gained 4lb!! To top it all off my doctor has given me Norithisterone yesterday and two of the side effects are weight gain and bloating. My tummy is massively bloated already (its normally pretty flat) and i look 6 months pregnant what can i do to get rid of this??

Drink a lot of water to flush out the bloat. This is way better than taking a water pill. If you're losing weight, you should be drinking 1 + gallons a day.0

unless you ate about 15,000 calories the past two days, i doubt its fat.
it's water & sodium, don't worry :flowerforyou:
& i agree, drinks a lof of water and eat veggies. it will go away0 -
Sounds like you're holding water weight. Just keep your sodium low, your water high and don't give up!0

YES^
I've had 6,000 calorie binges before, and barely gained 1 lb,
Once you get to the normal routine again you will go down in weight, it's just water retention .0 -
I drink gallons of water probably at least 4 litres a day because i work out hard for 2 hours a day and need it. I do weight train 5 days a week but havent changed anything so i doubt the muscles will be holding it. I'm gutted i have a special weekend away with my partner this coming weekend and i dont want him thinking i look pregnant0

I wouldn't worry about it. Keep drinking that water. Your partner probably won't notice. My DH never does.0

Drink your water like it's going out of style. It's just bloat (said all the articles I just read online) and should even out in a week or so.0

Belly bloat is more likely constipation than fluid retention. Extra water will still help, so will more fiber. Peppermint tea, ginger, pineapple, parsley and yougurts are also suggested.0
