Is there a recipe database on MFP?

I add recipes, but I don't know if there is any way to view other peoples recipes. Can I just browse through recipes on here submitted from others?

If so...How?

Before I enter a recipe it always asks me if I want to submit it to the MFP recipe database -- so where is it?? If there is one? Confused.

It is a feature they have talked about implementing in a future update, but at this time all you can view are the Recipes you've entered yourself...at least on the Web version. Maybe the Apps are different.

I had emailed MFP to ask if my husband's account & mine could somehow be "linked" so when I put in a recipe, he can use the calories on his site. Rather than input the recipe twice! They said to "stay tuned." I am hoping they'll come up with something like this to make it easier for couples or people who eat the same things to use the site!

THIS is what it says when you click "yes" to share, which happens to give you the fields for adding instructions on assembling the ingredients into the intended meal. (it's not a good thing to put the baking soda and water meant for a "glaze" on my pretzels into the recipe itself... which just from the ingredients one might think it's meant for :)
We are currently accepting submissions to the MyFitnessPal recipe database. Once we receive enough submissions, we'll create a recipe section where users can browse recipes submitted by other members. Until then, you can To submit your recipe to the database, please provide the following additional information.

In other words the recipe database isn't a live feature of MFP yet, you can use the recipe forum to grab recipes from other people that you then add ingredient by ingredient into your own list of recipes...
