Hey Y'all,
As some of you may have seen on another board, I am probably breaking up with Weight Watchers. Soon. I feel like MFP might be a better fit for me.
For those of you that *have* done WW or know of what I am talking about: I have a question.
Are there "free points" for each week? I know this is just calorie based. But say I go over my daily calories by 250. Does it allow you to eat less one day to make that up? Does it mainly just count what you do in a WEEK and adjust accordingly? (So if I burn 200 calories at the gym tomorrow, it will make up for some of my overage from today?)
I hope this makes sense!
On WW, if you go over in a day and have no more flex points, it has "negative" points in red all week and is a discouraging thing to see.
Thanks everyone!

Hi and welcome! Well, MFP doesn't have something like you're describing, really. It does go by a daily basis, not a weekly basis. If you go over one day, it won't automatically give you more calories the next day. That doesn't mean you can't do it that way, though! A lot of people "zig zag" calories which means they go over on some days and stay under on other days. MFP will show a red number when you go over but just try not to let it bother you. Do whatever works best for you!0
