Met-X are okay tasting...but my favorite is any Quest bar. They have 20 grams of protein and like 18 grams of fiber so you stay full super long! And yes they are mighty tasty! Enjoy!0

They have a lot of sugar alcohols (read the ingredients), there are better options IMHO. Sugar alcohol can cause lots of digestive issues.0

What about Smart Protein?0

How much sugar do they have?0 -
Quest probably has the least amount of junk in it.0

If you are looking for something low in sugar, the Think Thin bars are not bad. They do have sugar alcohol but they don't seem to upset my stomach. They have 0 sugar (they do have carbs though).0

I like the Pure Protein bars. 20 grams of protein and 180 calories.0

Well, I have eaten a met RX one, and have had no problems,do you think it s OK then???0

I like the Pure Protein as well - I try not to have too many a week for the sugar alcohols. Looking for other suggestions though!0

Why are you eating it? More protein? Meal replacement? Amazing taste?
"is it ok" is entirely dependent on what you need from it.

Ditto on the Pure Protein bars, I sometimes just do a half a bar at a time. Keeps down the calories but bumps up that protein for energy!!!!
Best of luck!!0 -
i love the clif mojo bar - chocolate coconut almond!! so good 200 calories0

Met RX are ok. I am not a fan of Pure Protein. My favorite are the Clif Builder's - 20g. I also like Zone or Balance bars for snacks, only 12-14g.0

Like the OP says, I need it in place of dinner becasue i work from 5-9 as a waitriss and don't have time to eat a proper meal.0 -

Where, exactly, does it say in the OP that it was in place of dinner?
That said, as a meal replacement, as long as it fits in your calorie/macro goals you should be fine. If you choose to get all worked up over the ingredients, then that's up to you.0
