Just wondering about your thoughts on cutting down on food.... I eat healthy, but I need to cut down more.... How do you do that without starving yourself...

I'm the kind of person that if you take it away, that's all I think about!!!!

Fill up with lots of water! ;)

And coffee is good for stopping hunger pangs, though you've then got to fill up on water to counter the caffeine...

I find that if I graze throughout the day I tend to eat less, so I pack fruit, nuts, vegetables, Special K bars etc into my bag when I go to the office and nibble my way through them (on a good day, when I remember to. <.<) You're eating more often, but it's in smaller amounts.

The other thing I'd suggest is to fill up on watery, low-cal foods at meal time. Yesterday I had a ploughman's-style lunch: Oscar Meyer brown sugar ham (99% fat free!), baby carrots, sliced peppers, sliced tomato, Branston pickle, pickled beetroot, gherkins, mini BabyBels, dip made from fat-free Philadelphia and light mayo, plus some homemade chicken goujons - it was a HUGE portion and for less than 500 calories. So big, in fact, that it lasted throughout the afternoon...

You can also add chili to your meals, because it helps quell hunger pangs. :D A couple of splashes of Tabasco works!

I have found that portions just keep getting smaller over time naturally or that I'm just eating less.

Water or foods containing water certainly help too.
