If you're one of the girls in the photo, then it looks like you're fairly lean already - it's a long, slow process and there's nothing you can do bar focus on what needs to be done. Don't try undereating as that will mess things up. Have a look at my profile for my "journey". I'm not quite there yet (new photo added yesterday) but I'm definitely getting there.

Just remember that you are in it for the long haul... It comes quicker than you realize. The problem is, you are looking at yourself constantly. Even when everyone else said they could tell I was losing weight I didn't see it in myself. My clothes were loser, my ring about fell off my finger, and my glasses didn't fit my head but I could not "see" a difference in myself.....
  • I guess it is slow process, im currently 71Kg and looking to drop about 6kg, I run, power walk and do pilates every day of the week, im also white meat vege. Maybe I should try and go the next few weeks without looking at my tummy so much? Its so hard not to get fustrated! But your advice has helped  thanks p.s Im loving the support aspect of MFP!

realistically it is 6-8 weeks before you really start to notice results.

Have you added some strength training? or HIIT training? Also your body does need to rest and switching things up is always good.
  • thanks for the time estimation, gives me a bit more hope  that sounds like a good idea! Just putting it out there I have this like pocket of belly fat, just above my pelvis but right at the bottem of my tummy, my friend said it will take atleast 10Kg to get rid of it! anyone with the same tummy issue?
