Can you look at my food diary and offer advice?

Your food isn't really that bad actually. The only changes I'd make is try to limit fat intake, increase protein consumed, and drink more water. Also, it seems like you want to tone up more than actually lose weight so I'd try some weight lifting and pilates.0

I could use some help with this too.
I am 5'4" weigh 178.6 was 185.
I lost 5 pounds the first week, and have lost one pound in the last 2 weeks, for a total of 6.
Could you guys help me.

I looked back a few days on your diary.. Try drinking more water and log it. Limit your alcohol to your allowed budget. Try exercising more. Eat more protein (lean meats, peanut butter etc). Eating more protein will help keep you fuller longer. Walks on breaks and lunches were you can. If you can plan your meals a day before and log them so you have an idea of where you are in terms of your calorie goals. Drinking plain water will keep you full as well. If you have an opportunity to get on just a tredmill for 60 minutes you can burn between 400-600 calories. Get luck. I hope this was helpful.0

Thank you everyone, this has been very interesting reading. Personally I think the calorie allowance is a bit low but that is what mfp allocated when I first registered. I will try again using the suggested link.
Someone suggested sticking to an allowed amount- any idea what that is? I try and limit a couple of g and t's per week (although I was over doing it and drinking every night initially- hubby brought some very nice gin back from abroad), and perhaps chosing the week my daughter had her birthday wasn't such a good idea either!!!
