So I am having such a hard time on weekends recording my foor and excerise. I have got to be better at it. I don't record anything..it is almost like I hit the weekend and I am so busy doing for everything else I don't have 5 minutes to record what I eat or excerise. I mean seriously... I try it and I record some but then stop or don't have time...UGH I hate it.
Does anyone else have that problem? How do you make it work.

Hello there, I have the exact same problem, I do so good at work during the week, but as soon as Friday comes, we're out eating with family and friends, and drinking and then I lose track, and say to myself, well i'll get back on track on Monday:( I go to weigh myself and have gained everything I have worked for all week, boooooo! I to am trying to solve this problem, little by little, I'm gonna get there! I have been trying to chose 1 day from the weekend, Fri, Sat or Sun to cheat, so on one of these days i'll chose to eat the really good meal my mom made or have a few drinks, but only that 1 day! So let's say I have a birthday to go to on Saturday, this means Friday i do really good, I count and log all of my foods for the day, and Saturday i eat lightly in the morning, but at the party I'll let myself enjoy 1 plate of the food, and avoid the cake and icecream or have some from my kids plates, errr it's tough but we can do it!!! Good luck!0

My husband (also on MFP- and he's lost 45 lbs) and I have the same problem. What has worked for us is putting the laptop on the kitchen counter and having the MFP site on so that it makes it easier and more convenient.
Also we've created "Meals" that we can have on the weekend and then just add to our food list as a quick entry.
Hope that helps!
Good luck0 -
I stay mindful of it during the day and log everything at night before I go to bed on my ipad, or first thing the next morning. I realize there's going to be lots of estimations but I figure it's better than not logging at all.0

That is a great idea..the lap top open and ready and having the meals planned....
I do have an android phone but even then I dont take the time to do it..I know i have to buckle down..but it is really hard. Maybe having hte meals ready will make the differene because then I just have to pull them out and log easily it is when I'm hungry right now that it all totally bites the dust!0 -
I'm in the same boat. During the week, i can just scan everything I eat and my dialy routine is pretty consistent. but weekends when we make a lot of homemade food, its so hard to calculate and there is nothing to scan. So I try to use portion control on the weekend. cant say I'm overly successful at it, but I try.0
