does anyone know how to downlaod a youtube video in mp4 format?

does anyone have a website where u just plug in the link and it converts it for you

    Kinda illegal, depending on what you are downloading.

    I had to do this for a speech class I took, but you can only do it for videos you upload personally. If that's what you need then I'll try and help. There is no option on YouTube for videos that aren't yours.

    Oh, there are definitely ways to do it... I know several, though I can't in good faith tell someone how to go commit piracy. I can say that a simple google search will explain it all though.

    I know what you mean. I just didn't think YouTube actually provided a way. I know there are several other ways though.
