Protein Jelly?

Or Jello, depending on where you're from.
Has anyone tried this? I've got a bunch of sugar-free sachets of jelly powder of various flavours hanging around and a few pouches of flavoured whey protein, and wondered what it would be like to put the two together, for a practically zero-carb protein supplement.
The protein powder would dissolve, clearly, so there shouldn't be any textural difference, and the flavours in jelly aren't exactly overpowering considering it's mostly water, so the flavoured protein powder could be a welcome addition. And I do love a good bowl of jelly.
If you have methods/experiences/tips, let me know... I'll probably try it anyway, so I'll just post results & my experience when I'm done

Definitely try it and let us know how it comes out.
And it's totally called Jell-O or gelatin I guess if you don't want to use a brand name...0 -

Bump - I'm interested to see how it turns out.
Add - what about puddings? Chocolate protein with chocolate sugar free instant pudding?0 -
I've used mint chocolate protein powder in cold-pressed fruit & oat bars, and it's been nice. One thing I will say about whey is if you cook it, it tends to go... well, gross. Unbaked cheesecakes would be alright for that sort of thing, I'm sure.
I just put the jelly in the fridge. I have noticed it's got a layer on top where it hasn't all mixed in. I'm assuming that's the problem with shaking it to blend it with the water, then adding it to the jelly mix... it'll go frothy. Next batch I make, I'll make the jelly as normal and then just slowly drop a scoop into the mixture and stir until it's dissolved.
I'm hoping this lot mixed enough to set fully. I'll check it before bed0 -
I'd say this venture was a moderate success.
If you're going to try it, I'd recommend adding the protein powder in at the last minute, stirring to dissolve and then putting aside to set. Not that there's anything wrong with the flavour or texture if you shake up the protein first, but I'd imagine the protein distribution isn't entirely the same.
Edit: this is a mixture of PHD Pharma Whey Strawberry Creme and some Hartleys Raspberry jelly. Tastes, well, like raspberries and strawberries.0
