A quick post to update what I've been doing. Slowly but surely wins the race.

I haven't done that much, nothing clever (my food diary is open). I sometimes eat salads, I sometimes eat pie and mash, I enjoy the occasional pint of cider. But I've always aimed for a mild calorie deficit (100 calories a day!), tried to lift as heavy as I can (not that heavy but enough to challenge me) and did cardio (HIIT works best for me).

I've got stronger despite being on a deficit, having broken several PBs along the way while lifting and managing to pull tricks like clap pull ups and front lever raises which I couldn't do 5 months ago. Still want to build more muscle though as I do look weedy. And lower fat levels even further.

So be patient, stay disciplined enough to follow your plan and never give up!
