What I have learned is there is only so much we can control. Lost some weight, started getting back in shape, leveled off, gained weight, got back on track ... on track off track on track. I think many of you can relate.
Always in the back of my mind was I was going to someday put the focus into this endeavor that it required. Someday.
Then I was in a car accident.
6 weeks later, 6 weeks of no activity, and I now know what I have to do and how important it is to do this and stick with it.
Moreover, I am not the only one who can put this off for someday.
I am honest with my goals and how to get there. There will be no settling for some success.
Starting NOW and not stopping.

    Hi "phern55"-

I read your profile, so I know you are a guy in your 40's. Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you are doing better. I noticed that the last post you did, prior to this one, was back in Feb '09. It looks like you started off with high hopes and motivation, but "life" has a way of derailing us from things we really want to do. I am glad to see you are back to give it another shot.

Even though I am not a guy, I want to pass on to you a link to a thread that might be helpful. It was started by an active male MFP member, and is just for guys. The link to it is below. Good luck..
