Well what type of music do you like listening to? There are many good song for all genres, but in order to give you some songs you may like it would to be helpful to know what you like. Also what type of workout do you do? There are good songs for running with the beat and good song for the god forsaken sair master :)

I like all types of music. And I will be doing more walking and running.

    Britney Spears - 3 & Womanizer
Beyonce - Single Ladies, DIVA and Sweet Dreams
Lady Gaga - Bad Romance & Just Dance
Black Eyed Peas - Meet me halfway and Boom Boom Pow
    Kesha - Tick Tock
Katie Perry - Hot n Cold
Rihanna - Shut up and Drive and Disturbia
    Chris Brown - Run it
Three six Mafia - Lolly Lolly
    Kanye West - Gold Digger
Fionna Apple - Fast as you can
Michael Jackson - Dont stop till you get enough

There is such a wide range of music I have from the 80's to now, rock to pop to r&b...so I just listed a few of my favorites to work out to. Fionna Apple "Fast as you can" is what I use when I run...it gets me pumped up. Good luck.

    Hey,
I do Southern Gospel Music myself. I find it to be mentally relaxing while physically challenging myself during a workout. God Bless, Brenda

I like to listen to kings of leon "only by the nights" cd when I jog it has a great pace. Sometimes Fall out Boy they have really good beats to their music to keep up with! My husband is a Marine and he likes to jam to anything from Pantera to Usher. Powerman 5000 "when worlds collide" is a great booster too! Some Usher, Lil John, Ludacris when your feeling a little dirty (LOL) I fam looking through my ipod for tunes. Flogging Molly, Heart (crazy on you and baracuda) is great too!!! Kanye West --Jesus Walks and Timbaland --Shock Value cd is really good (a bit vulgar at times but has so amazing beats as is expected with Timbaland!) I have a wide range of music I listen too! For a cool down Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson is a must! To try something new Blue Merle "Burning in the Sun" cd is one of my all time favorites. You can cool down but have a very beach like feeling. To check out music before you purchase it www.playlist.com is an amazing site!!!!!

I like to use the Podrunner mixes. Go to www.podrunner.com. They have the Couch to 5K programs (all the way up to 10K), fixed and variable BPM mixes, and Groovelectric, which are mixes about an hour long. They are all house/funk/trance which I really enjoy. Not for everyone, but the strong beat is great to run to.

    Oh and they're all free!
  • My all time favorite is Kevin Rudolph- Let It Rock.

I have NO idea why but when this comes on, I can suddenly run faster, and longer instantly. Its always the last song of my workout! :)

GREAT thread- I am updating my mp3 player as we speak. Thanks!!
