Ok..alot of us on here have the tummy hang over issues i know i do... i'm 373 pounds i've lost 22 pounds so far. one of my bestest fears is i'm not going to lose the tummy and i'm going to have the extra skin.. i'm doing the work outs and stuff and the tighting but its all at home,so im not doing it at gym i can't offord to go to a gym and work out there so i'm been filling up water juggs and using thoses.. anyone have any ideas that i could use to work on my tummy area to maybe tighten up that area so i'm not walking around with a big flab of fat there ? thank you for listening

That is one of my fears too! I had my last baby by C-section and it very hard to get those muscles back. I have decided that all my loose change is going in a jar, when I hit my goal weight I am hoping to have enought to check into skin removal, like they do on the biggest looser(love this show). Hopefully I can get my Dr to say it is nessasry and my insurance will help me.I started at 257 lbs.0

I fear this same thing. I've never had a tight tummy; not even before having three kids. I've gone from 220 to 130 after my second child. The skin did shrink too, but I still had excess flab. It wasn't enough to notice thru clothing, but swim suits showed it off. I didn't excersize then or drink much water, but it did go down. That was 16 years ago for me. I fear I won't have the same results this go round, but that's a FEAR. I pretty much keep to my 64 oz+ of water a day and this is supposed to help your skin shrink normally. I have noticed better results on my double chin. I lost 50 lbs about two years ago and my chin & neck looked horrible with wrinkly flabby skin. I do neck excersizes now & with the water, I see a HUGE difference with the 10 lbs I've lost thus far. So, I guess what I'm saying is don't be discouraged. Our skin is the most flexible organ on our body & has the capacity to shrink as we do. We just have to take care of it as we lose. Twice everyday I go thru a ritual of massaging with lotion the flabbier areas. I do light stretching & drink tons of water. I take pictures every week (in my bra & panties) so I can see my changes. And there ARE changes. (oh, and I take two seconds with photo shop when I download my pics to my computer to blur my face... just saying.. LOL) It's inspiring to see my body take on shape. I do upper arm excersizes 2-3 times a day now (it takes @ 10-15 mins each time) . After 14 days I'm seeing the skin on my arms toning & can feel the bicep & tricep muscles firming! Of course, the muscles are hidden under fat still, but they are there! I can't afford a gym so I youtubed the arm workouts to learn proper form & position of weights. I've been using a water bottle that weighs 2lbs as a weight wile i'm at work, but have 2lb weights at home. This week I've noticed the 'need' to increase the weight. I'm going to splurg this weekend & upgrad to 5lbs. By the way, I love youtube! I get workouts & personal training for free at home!0
