I just received a jug from a coworker of Muscle Milk Light and the jug says that its best by 10/2011, do you think its alright for me to still consume?

Whey protein, bovine colostrum extract, various vegetable oils, and fruit sugars - all stuff that can go bad.

EDIT to add:

After reading the ingredients at http://musclemilknutrition.com/muscle-milk-ingredients/ , I have to question whether I'd drink it if the expiration date was 10/2012. But if it's a year past its sell-by, there are precious few foods I'd consider risking.
