Tough Love, Just get up and do it motivation needed...

Here on my journey I have done really well. But about 5 weeks ago I totally lost my motivation. I have tried everything to get it back... but with no avail, nothing has worked. I had 20 lbs to go to my goal, now I have 22. I think I need a motivator to say GET UP RIGHT NOW AND GO!!!... I have realized that just restricting my diet (eating healthy) is not going to get those last 20 lbs off, I've got to work out but I just can't find the energy... UGH... Am I the only one out there having this problem????

    You just have to make yourself get up and do it. If you can't get enough motivation for a full workout, then just do *something*. Once you get the heart rate up, chances are you will continue and do more. Go for a walk or a bike ride. Grab one of your kids and kick a ball around. Anything. Grab a friend and go for a walk at the mall.

  • Don't think about it just get up and do it. I find that the more I think about it the less my chances are of doing it. Don't give it too much thought just do it=)

    The more time you THINK about doing it, is time that could be spent doing it!

    I recommend trying to get a work out in first thing in the morning, your brain is still foggy so it won't seem as bad. And it will actually pep you up :smile:
