anyone else here battling the same issue as me? i was put on a medication cocktail this year that ballooned me to 165 pounds from 140. is shaking the med weight one extra hurdle on the way to losing weight? any success stories would be greatly appreciated! i've heard medication related weight gain can be absolutely evil to lose.

Yup. I was 120 and got to 160 in 3 months. I stopped taking the meds. They were for depression. Now running is my anti depressant. I tried to lose while still on meds and no luck. Once I stopped taking them, it slowly started coming off but I still have 25 lbs to go. My best advice... If you don't need the meds to stay alive, talk to your doctor about weaning off of them. You absolutely will not lose weight while on them, sorry to say. I don't know of anyone who ever has. Meds are evil.0
