I REALLY REALLY REALLY HATE THIS LINE!
For personal reasons - I know it has good intentions. My high-school councilor was absolutely terrible and left me with emotional scars. She would tell me (daily), "Everyone's different" after she was done lecturing me about how terrible of a person I was for not paying attention in class.
One day she called both my parents in to school to have a sit down meeting with her and I. She rambled on about how I was disruptive in class and that chances were I wasn't going to go anywhere unless I got some help. She arranged for me to get tested for ADHD when I was 17 and that day I overheard her in the hall telling my parents that even with medication I would probably require "special accommodations" if I had any chance of being successful in college.
As part of testing for ADHD you're required to take an institutionalized I.Q. test....
You should of seen the look on her face when she was told that I scored a 148. - Yup, everyone's different Ms. G.0 -

I just think of Monty Python's Life of Brian. "We're all Different!" "....I'm not."
I'd post the clip but I don't know how to do it on these forums.0 -
if everyone different, doesn't that make us all....the same #MFPhilosophy0
