Freezer meals - ideas please?

I am thinking I should spend a Saturday to just cook lots of meals for the freezer. Alternatively, prepare meals and cook them on the day. I don't have a slow cooker. Most recipes on pinterest seem to require a slow cooker (or crock pot).

If you have any good recipes, please can you share those with me? Or any tips for batch cooking?
