to make slimmed down lower sugar versions of holiday cookies and they were darn near inedible so sadly i broke down and followed the recipes EXACTLY as they were written and SUPRISE!!!! it worked of course. so much for tasty lo cal holiday treats, but thankfully its once a year this evil occurance happens

    I tried to make cheesecake bars with splenda :( they were terrible and tasted like fake sugar. I would rather them taste good and me just eat less of them! It is just once a year. Now if I can just resist those soft shortbread frosted cookies at Wal-Mart....:grumble:
