BOSU 3D System-Anyone have experience using it?

I am researching fitness equipment for my home. I need something that doesn't take up a lot of space and want to do strength training, work on my core, and improve my balance, and firm and tone. I already know that I don't like working on a regular stability ball, so the BOSU appeals to me because of the dome shape.
I ran across a product in Walmart.com that includes the ball and a platform, and resistance cords for upper body training, as well as a video on how to get a total body workout with the equipment. The reviews on the website seem pretty positive, but I am curious as to what experience someone on MFP might have had with this system.
Here is a link to the webpage I am referring to:

Thanks for any input you can offer.

I don't have the system,
but my trainer and I use a bosu a lot. It's a remarkably versatile little thing. You can use it in place of a step, balance on it for core work, use it like a stability ball (although it doesn't take nearly the whole body use that a stability ball would) for ab exercises, turn it upside down and do push ups on it to challenge your stabilizing muscles. Lots of stuff.
If the price is reasonable, I would say go for it. It's a good tool.0 -
Thank you viviakay.
