Dental Implants

I let them talk me into one. It cost me $3500 with no help from insurance. It;s nice, but if I had a do over, I would likely go another direction . Just too much money for 1 tooth. I won't get anymore.0

My brother has several, following a motor vehicle accident. A bridge wasn't an option in his case.
He's fairly happy with them.0 -
My mum has had one fitted and she also has a bridge. Not sure where you're from, but here in the UK it cost my mum £3500 (private dentist) for the implant, not sure about the cost of the bridge but she doesn't like that at all, she says she feels it may fall off.
I always said I'd love implants, but the process took 6 months for my mum which is way too long for me0 -
$3500 is about right for implants, a three unit bridge will probably cost something like $1500 out of pocket depending on insurance coverage. It's the classic case of paying for what you get. Bridge is cheaper but will not last as long before needing replacement. Implants can be risky because it's a foreign object that the body might reject, but is a more permanent replacement. Either way, if done correctly, is going to get the job done.0
