i need some help w/ easy dinner ideas for the nights that my sons have cub scouts. We pretty much fly out the door after pick up from school. Last year it was just fast food either on the way there or back. This was before the healthy lifestyle change. The 1st den meeting for this year was last night and it snuck up on me, so I was totally unprepared, thus drive-thru dinner it was.
Can someone help me out, please!

I put a whole chicken in the crock pot with carrots, potatoes, onions, whatever vegetables I have in the house first thing in the morning. I put the crock pot on the medium setting, and at night I have a juicy chicken and vegetables. I season it however I like, but I like to put half a lemon or orange inside the chicken, bay leaf, rosemary, and thyme in the pot. Delicious, and never a complaint from the kiddos.0
