Fitness Boot Camps in Europe? Suggestion?

Anyone have any experience with these? The types where you stay for five days or a week and do training every day, but nothing too extreme. Sun holiday destination a plus. For people who aren't that fit already but also not with a huge amount to lose either?

I'd like to lose some weight and get a fitness boost to start me on the way.

I've done one, but to be honest I preferred the times when I set myself a goal like cycling bloody miles over a week, or hiking round somewhere beautiful, carrying all my stuff. It might just be me, but the organised one felt a bit like being back at school, and there were people making rubbish excuses to get out of sessions (hello! You're paying to be here for a reason!). Self organised trips are, for me, infinitely more rewarding because you've done it all yourself and there's nobody else to get you on your bike in the morning.

where in europe are you thinking? How about planning a nice long 5 day bike ride, with a tent on the back of your bike?
  • thanks so much for responding! Haha, if you knew me you would know how funny your suggestions of me and bike riding are. I'm thinking more like a sun holiday where they also make you (or help you) work out, hikes, training sessions etc but also free time like a holiday, too.

I'm unmotivated, tbh, so I'd need someone to organise it. But, saying that, if I did pay and go, I'd get up and do everything 100%!
