So I love toast.. But I've been putting it in as just bread, because me and my lil brain thought that toasting wouldn't really make a difference, right? Well! It shows that toast has 8 more cals than just bread (all whole-wheat)..

Does this seem weird to anyone or is it too early in the morning for me to think straight? lol

Love and light. xo

It's probably just a glitch. Toasting isn't going to add calories to the food.

If it doesn't add ingredients, it doesn't add calories. :)

Toasting takes away some of the water in the bread, so a piece of bread that weighs 100g when toasted might only weight 90g, but have the same amount of calories....just weigh your bread before you toast it and use the 'raw' setting.
