new person with some question

I can keep under calories but i dont see how that will help me lose weight or inches. If i dont eat all the calories it says thats a bad thing. how? im not hungry so i dont eat them. can some one explain this program to me? and y bother exercising if i'm gonna eat the calories they give me?
