I went to the Biggest Loser website, www.nbc.com/biggestloser. I viewed the preview video for the new season (Jan. 5! Can't wait!) and amongst the replies was this link: http://www.writing.com/main/view_item/item_id/1270381-Big-Daddy

I wasn't sure if this was the right forum to put this, but I decided to because the story really pulls on your heart strings and gives the BEST motivation. I know many of us want to lose weight to look better (me included), but after reading this story you realize how truly CRITICAL losing weight is to your health.

Amazing story. I hope everyone enjoys it.

This is EXACTLY why I'm doing this - I don't want my son to see me on the sidelines not able to participate in anything. So sad.
