my treadmill tells me how many calories I burn so I just put walking and enter the calories myself

    Stair-treadmill under cardio--just found it!

You can just use the regular walking option. It doesn't matter if you walk on a treadmill or the sidewalk.

Stair-treadmill is a different machine; it simulates climbing stairs. Don't use that one unless that's what you're actually doing.

do you not know how fast you were walking?

(if it doesn't have any kind of digital readout, for whatever reason, 4 mph is kind of like the mall walker speed. 3 mph is, let's say, walking with a purpose. 2 mph is ambling around downtown.)
  • walking is walking. Treadmill or sidewalk it's pretty much the same. Type in walking and use the speed closest to what you did.
  • Thanks everyone
