I was recently diagnosed with adrenal fatigue. It happened very quickly. My doctor gave me a prescription for prednisone but didn't taper the dose. The next thing that I knew, I was having a lot of severe flu-like symtoms and now I have fatigue that just will not go away no matter what I do. My naturopath tested me for adrenal fatigue using a saliva cortisol test and said that I had adrenal fatigue. He prescribed bunches of vitamins and dietary changes. I have been dealing with this for about a month now and he said that it could be 6-12 months for a full recovery. I feel very discouraged. I had been feeling so vibrant and suddenly feel like I have had the life sucked right out of me. Has anyone else been through this? What did you do to feel better? How long did it take?
