I just bought a big bag of dates at BJ's whole sale. Any ideas what to do with them?

    You can eat them on there own or in any thing that you would normally use raisins, put them in oatmeal, make date squares, mincemeat pie with dates.

    dates wrapped in prosciutto is the yummiest; my friend found the idea in a diabetic cookbook. add some coarsely-ground black pepper to punch it up!

    I use them in bran muffins (replaces raisins, date scones and there is a recipe on cooks.com for bourbon balls with dates.
