Does anyone have a link to a website or any ideas on how I can get sample breakfast/lunch/dinner menus for a 1200 calorie diet? I'm the type of person that can't leave it all to chance - if I have something to follow with every day foods, I'll be more successful!

Well i can help with one site, but more to that, i can help with meal planning on a one to one basis.
I used to work as a chef, and i still work in a restaurant/hotel so i know all sorts of substitutions for things...
message me with your favourite meals or post them here and i will help you with some ideas on how to get something very similar tasting but with far lower calories.

The only bad things about trying to follow a preset diet is everything on that diet may not be the foods you enjoy. I track my foods the day before and working on tracking a week at a time. That way it is set to my foods that I like and can afford. I'm a chef as well so changing recipes and creating foods is an easy task for me. I would love to give a hand to anyone needing help.

Find someone here with goals and check out their food diaries. I started out at 1200 per day to jump start my loss and never went hungry.
Get a good nonstick pan and some egg whites and become an omelet master. And when in doubt, turn to Mexican before Italian or French. Grilled chicken and black beans over brown rice has turned into a go-to.0 -
I get ideas from my MFP friends diaries, I'm very fussy and so find it hard to find a variation in what I can eat and stay within my allowance. When it gets boring that's when it's harder to commit:yawn:

this is true for all proscribed diet regimes.. be they shake based... cabbage based... whatever.
The only way to be healthy permanently is to change the way you think about food. Unlearn all your bad food habits, relearn proper portion control, get into exercise, swap a whole bar of milk chocolate for a few pieces of a rich dark chocolate.
enjoy each mouthful one at a time and take your time when you eat.
It takes around 10-15 minutes from swallowing enough food to be full for the hormone (its a hormone signal not a nerve one so it takes time) to get to your brain and turn off the hunger signal, so if your not sure, split your portions in half.
if your still hungry half an hour later... eat the other half. if your not hungry, put it in the fridge for later or tomorrow.
there are no quick fixes.
there are no magic cures.
there can be only one. (sorry)
