Hi
I am looking for Streetmates to add in Runkeeper. It is much more motivating when you can see others progress and even set goals.
Please add me up, my profile is here:

Check out a few of the biking & running groups. I know the bikers have a "club" on Strava so we can see and be seen. Runners probably have a similar thing on runkeeper. Join a group and post your topic there, probably get better response. I ride with gps, but run without. Good luck!0

What is runkeeper? I am a newbie runner, just starting...0

Basically, If you have a smartphone it will track your running/biking and even coach you while you do your activity.
It records your activities on a website where you can set goals, add virtual streetmates and many more
You also see your burned calories depending of your speed, distance, time, weight etc...
Its awesome
You can see the website here

Feel free to add me as a virtual streetmate there0 -
And you dont need to have a data plan on your smartphone, it uses GPS Signal and will upload your activity once you connect wireless if you dont have data.0

I have been having major issues with the GPS feature! I have an iphone 4 through sprint so I didnt imagine it would be a problem. could it be because the arm band i keep my phone in is obstructing signal? I cant figure it out.0

I had similar issues before, it was taking forever to find the GPS Signal. What i use to do was opening an other application that use GPS (Like Google maps) just before runkeeper then once my location is fine i open Runkeeper.
The latest version of Runkeeper seem fine though since I dont need to do that trick anymore.0 -
