Hi everyone

I'm 42 years old and live in Belfast in Northern Ireland. I've been working on a weight loss journey for a very long time. At 5.2 I've been as heavy as 178lb and as light as 150lb over the last fifteen years. I'm currently at my lightest ever (147lbs) and am determined to finally conquer this once and for all. I'm so so tired of gaining and losing the same weight over and over again. I've been using several strategies to get to this point:

Firstly I've been doing a CBT course using a book someone recommended - this has been making a huge difference to me.

Secondly I bought a fitbit (which just broke but that's another story :)) and have really tried to increase my daily activities.

Thirdly I've been paying a lot of attention to my diet. Experimenting a little with intermittent fasting, focusing on stopping eating when full and avoiding the real calorie traps like alcohol and sweets. And using this website to log everything I eat.

I'm feeling like I'm going into the home strait but this is where disaster has always struck for me before - I get comfortable and start overeating again and the weight just goes right back on. I'm determined this time will be different.

I'm just wondering whether there is anyone else out there like me who might like to buddy up? I think I could do with some encouragement and someone to 'discuss' this with. I do talk to friends about it a little but know that it can be either boring or challenging depending on where they are in their own lives - it would be great if there's anyone out there who is also interested in not falling at the final hurdle.

As a PS I'm also kinda keen on fitness, have been weight training for a while now and love it, I'm also a recent yoga convert.
